Rana was a female Jedi Knight during the waning years of the Old Republic, as well as the Jedi Order. An expert pilot, Rana filled a rank that the Jedi Knights had little numbers in: Jedi pilots. Serving the Order in this way, at one point, Rana transported the famous Qui-Gon Jinn and his equally famous Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, to the planet of Ragoon-6, where the pair hoped to regain their focus.
