Jedi Master Tra'avis served as a General in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Towards the end of the war, Tra'avis participated in the Outer Rim Sieges battling against Separatist forces on planets that included Monhudle, New Bakstre, and Biitu. Tra'avis was on the planet Garqi with Aiwha Squad when his troops received Order 66 from Darth Sidious. Turning on General Tra'avis, the Jedi Master was shot down like dozens of his brethren that day.

In the weeks following the ultimate defeat of the Jedi, the Imperial propaganda machine began efforts to demonize and turn the galaxy against the defeated Jedi Order. Part of this effort included reports on the demise of prominent Jedi during Order 66. In a document compiled by Imperial Moff Marcellin Wessel and supplemented by Sate Pestage, detailed the Empire success in terminating fifteen Jedi. Master Tra'avis was one of those Jedi. Sadly, many of the death's reported in the document provided untrue accounts of the Jedi's ultimate demise. Imperial records would show that Master Tra'avis was killed while trying to kidnap refugee children to be trained as Jedi.
